Prophylactic
Every once in awhile, i will discover words that i think it's pretty cool or worthwhile to pay a note to it. Prophylactic, for instance, is one of them. I came across this odd looking wordings with the total count of 11 roman alphabets, 4 intonations and it's an adjective by nature. It's pronounced as PRO - fft - lack - tick = Prophylactic. It carry 2 major meanings:
1) guarding from or preventing the spread or occurrence of disease or infection
2) tending to prevent or ward off : Preventive.
Well, it simply means a counteract for a certain entities/issues/infections/diseases/etc . It can be used in a sentence such as " Such cohesion acts as a prophylactic against her enemies". I find the word pretty catchy, and it sounds cool, you know. Furthermore, it's considered as an unique term or wording that one will use in daily conversation, even in advanced literature forms. Anyway, this will soon to be one of my habits, as to jotting down interesting words and phrases and posting it up here. As, i think by doing so, it's like laying down a fine framework for my future writing, regardless of the forms.
Cheers ^^v
